Description:
Hôtel La Châtelaine is an apartment-style resort with the feel of home.
Situated on a palm tree-lined white sand beach on Simpson Bay, Hôtel La Châtelaine features 17 individually designed studios and one- and two-bedroom apartments minutes from Juliana Airport. It's about a 10-minute taxi ride from the capitals of both the Dutch and French sides of the island and their many interesting restaurants, happening night clubs and glitzy casinos.
The spacious apartments, each painted in white and decorated with four-poster beds, antique furnishings and tile floors, come with kitchenettes, outdoor patios or balconies and large living areas.
A freshwater pool surrounded by a large sundeck overlooks the beach, where the sports-minded can windsurf or snorkel the deep blue, while the less adventurous catch up on reading or nap the day away. As with many of the accommodations located near the airport, expect perodic plane noise.
